 We need more people to participate with us in various roles. Anyone with an interest in helping out animals and society is welcome to join in with us, regardless of whether you want to make a short-term or long-term commitment. If you are only in Taichung for a short time and want to join in on some fun and useful activities, make some friends, or foster animals, please join us. If you are a local person and/or have a long-term commitment to staying in Taichung and making life better for animals, please join us. If you love animals, please join us!
At the moment, we are just a small group of highly committed volunteers. We are both expatriates and Taiwanese, short-term and long-term residents, teachers and students, businesspersons and homemakers, children and adults, and we hope to add even more varieties of people who love animals. We believe that through our cooperation we can make life better for animals in the Taichung area. We need help with every aspect of our organization. Thanks! |  | |  | | Animal adoption support | Support the process of adoption, from search and initial contact, through interviews and follow-up. | | | | translation | Keep our Chinese and English webpages synchronized. | | | | Design/ Website | Support our website with creativity, design, translation, photography and editing. We also need website managers and forum moderators. | | | | Education | We need people to create media presentations to show to students of all ages, from kindergarten through to university. | | | | Administrative support | Planning and keeping account of expenses and income. | | | | Handicrafts/ Baking/ Sewing | If you have any handicraft skills, cooking skills, or design aspirations and would like to support our fundraising activities, we need people to help us prepare for our fundraising activities. | | | | Public Relations | Make flyers and distribute information to schools, businesses, veterinarians, and interested volunteers. | | |  | | | | TNR,CNR team | In our action areas, we need small groups to implement our “catch, neuter, release” program. We trap wild adult cats and dogs, our vet will neuter them at reduced cost, and then we release them. The CNR action team will also follow-up and keep track of animals in their area, possibly in connection with a feeding team. | | | | Fostering/ training | These volunteers will give their home and time in order to train kittens and puppies and even some adult cats in order to adjust to domestic life upon adoption. | | | | Animal care group | This group provides emergency care for slightly injured or hungry homeless animals, through feeding and care. This group can work together with the CNR team. | | | | Animal rescue team | This group is ready for action anytime. If there is an injured or abused animal in need, this group will do something about it. | | | | Education team | This group will go to schools and social organizations to promote animal education and welfare. | | | | fundraiser | Develops ways and means to raise funds for our animal programs. | | Moreover, if you have any handicraft skills, cooking skills, or design aspirations and would like to support our fundraising activities, please let us know.
